MINISTRIES

Deacons

The Deacons Ministry assists the Pastor in carrying out the programs of the Church. A Deacon's duties and responsibilities:

· to ensure that the Lord's Supper is served in a reverent

manner.

· to strive to win to Christ, the unsaved.

· to ensure that the baptismal pool is ready and that

candidates for baptism are prepared for the baptism

ceremony

· to visit the sick and those in trouble.

· to know at all times the condition of the Church

spiritually.

· to be active participants in Bible Study, Sunday School

and Prayer Meetings.

· Pray with and for the Pastor and members of the Church.

Deaconess

The Deaconess Ministry assists the Pastor and the Deacons in ministering to the sick and the poor. Deaconess duties and responsibilities:

· to strive to win to Christ, the unsaved.

· to care for the altar, baptismal and Communion

linens.

· to furnish and prepare the Communion table

· to visit, console and counsel victims of error

and bereavement.

· to assist in the religious training of youth and

adults.

· to attend all meetings of this ministry.

· to be active participants in Bible Study, Sunday

School and Prayer Meetings.

Trustees

The Trustee Ministry carries out the instructions given by the Pastor and Deacons Ministry. Trustee responsibilities include:

· signing contracts on behalf of the Church.

· care and maintenance of the Church building and

equipment under direction of the Church body.

· performing other duties as required by the Church

and the laws of the State.

· being active participants in Bible Study, Sunday

School and Prayer Meetings.

Music

The Music Ministry leads the congregation in worshiping God in song and praise. The Ministry consist of Choirs of the Church.

Transportation

The Transportation Ministry provides transportation to and from New Trinity Baptist Church and to other Church related engagements.

Ushers

The Ushers' Ministry consists of the Senior and Junior Ushers. The Ushers are doorkeepers during worship service; directs the congregation to their seats; assists in receiving the offering; supports Church programs as requested by the Pastor; and, accompanies the Pastor on preaching engagement.

Audio/Media

The Audio and Media Ministry provides CD’S, DVD’S, Livestreaming Sunday Services(Facebook and YouTube) and Messages on the LED Digital Church sign for community awareness.
